The new TrafficPro II™ Radio/CD/Navigation System, sold exclusively through Ford Vehicle Personalization, contains the essential innovative solutions to deliver superior performance at a price your customers can afford. The result: TrafficPro’s already revolutionary driving guidance is now even simpler to work with, both for consumers and for manufacturers.

This becomes evident with TrafficPro II™ as soon as the system is activated. The intuitive controls of the TrafficPro II™ system virtually eliminate complexity from the navigation process.

The display color is green—Ford Green—and its crisp dot-matrix text presents the driver with highly legible street names, distances and turning instructions. The directional icons are understandable at a glance. TrafficPro II™ also offers a fixed slot as opposed to a flipdown. CDs can be inserted and played more quickly and with greater ease.

First, along the top of the headunit is a row of buttons providing one-step operation for each programming element (Clock, Sound, Traffic Program, Audio CD, Radio, Navigation). Then, an ingenious display of functions appears just above the bottom row of buttons. These functions automatically change as you select the desired mode of operation. Finally, once in the navigation mode, simply turn and press one dial to program your navigation destination. And if you change your mind in the middle of programming navigation just press and hold the navigation button for 2 seconds. You will immediately be brought back to the main menu.

For the technicians, installation is quick and easy. All elements of the navigation system are contained within the common navigation headunit, which mounts directly in place of the factory radio.
